Quick Update

With a new baby and moving twice in the last two months - a quick blog update is what you are getting.
- We love our new house and will get some picts up soon.
- Avrie's blessing day was great with lots of family support. Thanks everyone!
- Alyse was Cinderella for Halloween for the 2nd year in a (Not a big surprise)
- We went to the Las Vegas version of a "Pumpkin Patch". This is a parking lot/vacant dirt field turned into a carnival with rides that cost an arm and leg and a few pumpkins scattered on some hay bails to walk by as you leave. We will take what we can get.
- And to end this update some advice from Alyse - about an hour ago she informed Rob that you shouldn't fight because Jesus wants you to be nice and of course - SANTA is watching!

Updates!

Here are a few updates for the Stephens Family.
1. Avrie is now 6 weeks old and starting to smile alot.
2. Alyse is going to Joy school 2 times a week and loving it. (Joy school is a program for preschool age kids and the moms take turns teaching the lessons. I doing it with 4 other moms in my ward)
3. We are officially moved out of our apartment and mooching off Rob's parents until we close on our house. (They have been very kind to put up with us)
4. We have no closing date. After a low appraisal and new appraisal we are finally back on track but have to wait for our flooring to be in - which should be started tomorrow. (SHOULD BE)

Life is good and Vegas is finally starting to cool down. Autumn in Vegas is great! It's why we put up with the hot summers!

New Addition!

Here is our new addition. Avrie Stephens was born August 14th at 12:36 pm. She is 19 inches long and she weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces - not really. The scale was acting up and none of us believed she weighed that much so the nurse did it twice and it came up the same. Six hours later when they weighed her she was 6 pounds something so we will go with that. She is happy and healthy and I feel happy and healthy. Our next big project will be to tackle moving. We picked out our flooring this morning. We hope we made good choices since we haven't seen the inside of the house since we made an offer!
